WING – Empowering Actors in Civic Space Protection (2025-2027)

WING is a transnational initiative running from 1st June 2025 to 31st May 2027, funded under the CERV programme (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) of the European Commission. It is jointly implemented by eight civil society organizations from across the EU, from Italy, Belgium, Greece, Poland, France, Hungary.

The project responds to the growing criminalization of solidarity towards migrants and aims to promote rights and values by empowering civic space actors through

• documenting cases,
• co-creating multidimensional responses,
• facilitating national and transnational exchanges,
• promoting civic-policy dialogue, and
• launching an awareness campaign.

WING aims to strengthen and safeguard the civic space across the EU.
