In its decision dated 19 January 2010, the Equal Treatment Authority established that the mayor of Kiskunlacháza has committed harassment when stating that the settlement’s population having had enough of ‘Roma aggression’. In October 2010, the Metropolitan Court ordered the Authority to conduct a new procedure in the case. The HHC stresses that it does not follow from the court decision that the statements of the mayor are lawful or acceptable.
