László Detre

I joined the rule of law programme of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee in January 2023. Previously, I worked at the Constitutional Court of Hungary for ten years, and for the re:constitution programme in Berlin for two. I consider the work of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, as part of the system of checks and balances, of fundamental importance to keep Hungary a rule of law state, respecting the founding values of the European Union.
