Zsófia Moldova is a lawyer and the Director of the Justice Program at the Hungarian Helsinki Committee in Budapest, Hungary. She is responsible for managing a team focused on the preventing torture and ill-treatment by law enforcement and in closed institutions, and the fairness of the criminal justice system. She has been a prison monitoring expert for 12 years, and as a researcher, lawyer in the field of penitentiary and criminal law. Prior to her legal career, Zsófia worked for communication agencies managing campaigns for multinational companies. Zsófia is also the founding member of FECSKE, the support network for detainees and their families in Hungary.
