Strengthening the involvement of civil society organizations within EU’s rule of law and democracy mechanisms (2020-2021)

The aim of the project is to strengthen the various rule of law mechanisms of the European Union, the strengthening of civil society organisations’ participation in these. The project is coordinated by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. During 2020, we co-organised an online workshop with the other participants of the project for civil society organisations working in the region. As part of the project, the HHC disseminated the findings of the joint contribution of Hungarian CSOs to the European Commission’s first rule of law report as well as the Commission’s document (through social media, podcasts, interviews and an accessibly written article).
