Social Participation Course

Have you ever wondered how Hungary could be a better place for foreign people? Do you already have ideas how to help refugees and migrants feel more at home in Hungary?
If yes, join the Social Participation Course of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee! This course is for you if you are living in Hungary as a young refugee, an immigrant, or a Hungarian citizen with a migration background.

As a group we will discuss social issues in Hungary. We will ask you to tell us your ideas about how to solve these issues. We will also ask you to plan a social action, and we will help your ideas come true.

The course is free and the language is English. Please apply if you are between the ages of 16-25.
We will meet for 12 weeks every Tuesday from 13 February until 30 April. Each session will last from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm.
Start: 13 February 2024, 5:30-8:00 pm
End: 30 April 2024
You can join the group until 27 February: you can join the group during the first 3 sessions, and we will close the applications after 27 February.
