NGOs turn to Viviane Reding

NGOs turn to the Viviane Reding, the European Commission’s Vice-President in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship.

In a letter sent to Viviane Reding three NGOs (Hungarian Civil Liberties Union,  Eötvös Károly Policy Institute, Hungarian Helsinki Committee) expressed their grave concerns regarding recent legislative developments in Hungary threatening the full and proper implementation of the values enshrined in Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union (TEU).

The letter is available in English and in Hungarian.
