Senior legal officer and coordinator, Refugee programme
I provide legal assistance and representation for asylum-seekers and recipients of international protection, primarily unaccompanied children. I take part in the HHC’s strategic litigation work and coordinate the Hungarian asylum layers’ network and I serve as the Hungarian focal point of the European Legal Network on Asylum (ELENA).
In cooperation with the Helsinki Committee’s partners, I also work to defend the rights of the LGBTQI community of Hungary.
As a member of the United World Colleges movement, being a human rights defender is the best job I could imagine for myself.
