I provide legal assistance and representation for those seeking help from the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. I have been working to defend the rights of asylum-seekers since 2016, and by now, as an attorney, I contribute to the organisation’s work providing legal aid to victims of rights violations suffered in the criminal justice system as well. I take part in the HHC’s Refugee Program’s strategic litigation work to identify and rectify systemic rights violations.
In cooperation with the Helsinki Committee’s partners, I also work to defend the rights of the LGBTQI community of Hungary.
As a member of the United World Colleges movement, being a human rights defender is the best job I could imagine for myself.
