Katarina Petrov

I work as a legal officer at the Hungarian Helsinki Committee’s refugee programme, where I provide legal advice and representation in immigration and asylum procedures. During my university years, I also gained experience in the traditional law firm sector, and I was already involved in the work of the Helsinki Committee as a trainee. It’s very important to me that my work is not just a profession, but also a vocation. As a human rights lawyer, I feel that I’ve truly found the field that inspires me the most.
