Balázs Tóth PhD

I have graduated at the Faculty of Law of University of Miskolc in 2002, where I obtained my PhD in 2012. I have been working for the Hungarian Helsinki Committee since November 2004, for 12 years as the Head of the Law Enforcement Programme. Prior to that, I worked as a legal officer in the Ministry of Education, and between 2008 and 2012, I was also an assistant professor at the University of Miskolc. Since 2014 I have been working as a legal journalist for an investigative online journal called atlatszo.hu. Since 2016 I am also a practicing attorney at law.
