Balázs Simonyi

junior advocacy officer

I joined the Hungarian Helsinki Committee in February 2024. As a Junior Advocacy Officer, I focus on the advocacy activities of the Criminal Justice and Rule of Law Programmes. My tasks include supporting the organisation’s international advocacy activities, such as drafting submissions, policy papers and analyses. Before joining the Helsinki Committee, I graduated from the Central European University with a degree in Public Administration, with a specialisation in Social Justice and Human Rights.
